It depends on how close the 17yr old is to being 18yrs if she is over 17yr and 6mths then they will tr her as an adult so then it's fine. Don't worry
I was only 18 when I was pregnant with my first child. My mother asked to be there and I had no issues with it. My partners mother was also there along with my partner. It doesn't hurt to discuss it with her but either way make sure you respect her decision if she chooses to do it alone. Then again she might want you there and just doesn't know how to ask or bring it up.
