it ain't that easy,
is your 2001 sportage a twin OHC ? is the 1999 engine a DOHC ?
is the computer tranny box upgradable or designed to make the downgrade jump to a 1999 tranny. It could do it with a $ 1000.00 tranny computer ( $100.00 at junk yard ).If the compatability #s' match. it could be an expensive mismatch,do your homework on this one.
all later model are 2.0 twin cams
there is a special kind , Autozone can tell you for sure, but i think it is multi-vehicle dex version, but i could be wrong, i work on Kia's everyday but have not done transmission work in some time, so i have just forgotten.
No... 1999 to 2001 will work only for those model years. we tried sticking a 98 into a 2001 and it fits but won't work because of the sensors
No
Yes it will most certainly will. Just make sure you put the 2001 tranny into the 1999 linc given that the 2001 has more HP and Torque. The bolt pattern is the same to the engine sinc eit's the same engine. 4.6L
The Wiggles The Series - 1999 Work was released on: USA: 9 February 2001
No
NO it will not work....
yes
The transfer case makes it 4x4 not the transmission. As long as the trannys are the same should work
NO.. Not even close. You can not use a transmission over the year of 1999. Chevy REDESIGNED there transmissions and engines in the late months of 1999
No it will not work. All the wiring connectors and the computer is different in the 95 not just that but the transmission is designed different.
NO it will not, The computer system on the truck is different.
