Depends on what it is choked.
Have it checked over by a gunmsith first. No reason it can't if in good mechanical condition.
Would like to know how old my harrington richardson arms 16 ga shoot gun is worth
NO. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DO THIS!!!
Needs to be checked by a gunsmith
First, it is Harrington & Richardson. Second- it depends. What is marked on the gun? H&Rs were made in .22 Short, .22 long, .22 Long Rifle, .22 Special, .22 WRF and .22 Magnum.
Not reccomended. Older shotguns were made of softer steel, and may be scored by the harder pellets.
NO!!!! 45 Long Colt may fit in the bore, but centerfire pistol cartridges run higher pressures than shotgun, and it could lead to a catastrophic failure.
If your gun is older than 1990 I wouldn't. Not saying it will destroy the barrel but steel shot is harder than lead and before steel shot came into use most manufacturers had no reason to test the barrels for steel use. It can damage the barrel or worse. If your gun is older than 1990 I wouldn't. a 12 gauge shotgun can shoot about 30 yards accuracy
I inherited one, in my research I have found them available in gun auctions for 99.00 to 170.00. I agree with the comment "keep it". Fun to shoot and looks great above the fire place : )
No, you can not shoot anything but 12 gauge shotgun shells through a 12 gauge shotgun. Never use any ammunition other than what the firearm was designed for.
yes
