UMMM Yea you are a legal adult.
You are already a legal adult. Lawl.
Emancipation laws vary by state, but the aunt would probably have a better chance of being awarded custody/guardianship (and then she could also request that the parents be ordered to pay child support), then you would have of being emancipated. Emancipation generally requires that the minor is capable of supporting themselves, and since you
You could try to get emancipated.
if they can find a way to be emancipated (which takes alot of work, and you have to prove you are mature enough to make decisions for yourself) or the simpler way would be to try to convince your parents that it would be better for you in New Jersey. But it is possible.
college is better
It is easier to get into college if your parent's have gone to that specific college because you would be a legacy there. Other than that, it does not really make a difference whether or not your parent's went to college. Getting accepted to, and graduating from, college has to do with your brains, not the brains of your parents.
No, but the courts take it into consideration. And it will make it harder to achieve the emancipation because now you have to prove that becoming emancipated will be better than staying with your parents. The older you are the easier it is to be emancipated generally, but in most places you have to be at least 16 for it to be considered. And only about half the states allow emancipation in the first place.
Liberated, emancipated, gratis, depending on the way you're using it.
If you are emancipated you are considered an adult. You can live where you want to.
Only if your legally emancipated from your parents which i don't think would be approved for a 14 year old.. maybe there would be a better possibility at 16, and at 16 you could get married and automatically be emancipated..but you need parental consent. you could get married at 15 but you would have to go to court and be pregnant.
I think College is better
The students were protesting outside of the school for better funding.
