yes they are the same (See Answer)the bulbs 1157 are the same bulb as the 2057 just different wattage (both are 12 volts as the majority if not all cars use a 12V system ;) ).. in my case i used a 1157 led bulbs in my 2057 Chevy beretta tail/turn lights.... to make my led lights to work all i needed was a diff flasher.... figured it out i just need a new flasher (elecetronic flasher)Part number..Bussmann flasher BP/232 replaces flasher 552 then you are able to put leds bulbs in the tail/turn lights.. NO they are not ALL the same! Case in point: Some manufacturers, Pilot from experience, claim their amber repla1157 LED replaces the 2057 amber specifically in a C4 Corvette front turn signal. However the locking tabs on the side of the bulb are at the same height on the Pilot bulb rather than different heights on the bulb so they do not lock into the GM bulb socket. It may flash and work temporarily...until it rattles out of the socket.1157 has 3cp and 2057 has 2cp* - I would like a clarification of what 3cp & 2cp mean.....The 1157 & 2057 bulbs ARE a direct swap, have the same number of contacts and filaments......not counting an aftermarket LED bulb which may have been produced/labeled improperly. From my information the 2057 has a slightly brighter brake illumination. That is only difference.cp = candle power, the more candle power the brighter the light and the more heat it gives off, ever see melted lenses from incorrect bulbs?
we may use a LED in place of a bulb in a tester as LED glows even when there is a small electric current flow through it
yes, it can be used - single phase voltage of 230v. 50HZ is important
The bulb of a thermometer is used as a hot spot or "fire place" because as the temperature rises the bulb is heated which as heats the mercury inside to estimate the outside temperature. So as you see the bulb attract to sunlight to heat itself like a hot spot.
In Thomas Edison's workshop on October 19, 1879.
A lamp holder is a device used to secure a light bulb or lamp in place, typically providing electrical connections for the bulb. It is commonly found in light fixtures and lamps to hold the bulb securely and allow it to be powered.
where was the first light bulb used
yes argon is used for light bulb and it is not reactive
No, a 200 w incandescent bulb is quite safe if kept in a drawer, but if it is plugged in and used to light the place, it must be used in a fitting that is capable of clearing the quite large amount of heat that is produced by a 200 w incandescent bulb.
it is used in a bulb thermometer because the molocules a still
The gas in a light bulb is Argon
the electricity used to power the light bulb emit carbon dioxide
