I just bought a used Smith & Wesson 410 with box and 2 mags for $375 at Cabelas. Making a purchase of $375 allowed me to activate a promotional cash card for $75 so the actual cost was realistically $300. The gun was at least 95% and at that price was a good value.
Maybe once! ;) Serriously though the answer is a resounding "NO". The pressures of the .460 greatly exceed those recommended for the 45 Colt/410 barrel. I highly discourage the desire to test this. The results at the least will ruin a nice firearm and at most can kill you. Save your pennies and buy a gun built for it.
Some well-known brands that produce .410 pistols include Taurus, which offers the Judge series, and Smith & Wesson with the Governor. Another notable brand is Bond Arms, known for their derringer-style .410 pistols. Additionally, the Taurus Circuit Judge is a unique option that combines features of a rifle and pistol for .410 ammunition.
NO!!
None. While there are firearms made to shoot .45 Colt AND .410 shotshells, they are designed and made to do that. A regular .410 shotgun is NOT made to do that safely.
