Sprint has a 4g network that is multiple times faster than the competition 3g networks, in addition to the equivalent of 3g coverage where 4g is not available. Coverage for 4g is not universal and only a small part of the country, mostly in cities, will have 4g coverage.

Sprint and T-Mobile claim to have 4G, but T-Mobile's "4G" is HSPA+ (High speed packet access plus) and they used to call it 3g, but now they are trumpeting it as "America's Largest 4G Network". Yes indeed you can! I own a sprint phone and nearly all of their services include 4G service. It is however an extra ten dollars a month. I personally love sprint.
