If you are replacing it with a stock Toyota engine it should not be an impossible task, since the six is the larger engine option anyway. However, it will involve SOME
modifications such as new engine mounts, exhaust hookup - etc. The remainder of the engine compartment "accessories" should be standard all across the Toyota line and be no real trouble for a mechanic to install on the new engine.
