Why Ac fan does not work on Max?

Your AC fan is not working on the maximum setting because you have a bad blower motor resistor. This is located under the dash or next to the blower motor.

Hello I'm wondering why the heat and ac on this 1999 Chevy s10 stopped working on setting number 4 At first no setting would work. Now all setting work 1-3 but turns off on 4.?

The blower motor resistor is out and it is fairly inexpensive to get replaced around $25.00.

When the fan is on high it does not run through the blower motor resistor. The low speeds don't work because the blower motor resistor is bad.

Why does your 1999 Yukon heat only work on high?

If you are referring to the blower motor only working on the high speed setting, then the problem is the blower motor Resistor Pack is defective. Replace it. It can be the blower motor speed control switch but not likely.

If the heat air conditioner blower motor only works on the high setting on a 2.2 liter 1996 Sunfire and the other 2 settings do not work what could be wrong?

There is a Blower Motor resistor that is located at the bottom back of the heater box on the passenger side cab. The blower motor plugs into it so that will help locate it. If the resistor goes you lose the lowest fan setting first and eventually the high fan setting will cease to function. Simple to repair just a little time consuming to do because of the limited space to work in. You need to remove the blower motor to properly access and remove the Blower motor resistor.

What would make only 5 of the Air Conditioner in a 2000 Impala work?

If you are referring to the blower motor speed, and only the highest setting works, then the problem is a bad Blower Motor Resistor Pack.

2001 impala does not blower motor does not work on the 1 setting?

It is either the blower motor control switch or the blower motor resistor pack. More than likely it is the resistor pack. It must be replaced or just live with it until it fails completely.
