Can a German shepherd pass a dead puppy 3 days after last viable pup. I know it's inside but can she get it out on her own?

Okay, so let me get this straight.. You KNOW your dog has a dead pup inside of her and it's been three days since she delivered a live pup. Now you are wondering if she can pass it on her own? Wow. What a question, one that YOU think you'd already know the answer to. But, apparently not.
The answer is NO, if she couldn't have the puppy when she was giving birth then she will continue to retain this dead puppy.
GET THIS DOG TO THE VETERINARY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! If you don't she will develop a serious and life threatening infection which CAN and COULD kill her.
