no
no
If the cage is too small take it back and get a new one! Never get anything hamster for a guinea pig. If you have a small cage then that means you got a hamster cage.
No its not, i guinea pigs cage is way bigger. & you should not have the same size of guinea pig cage as your hampster.
from the research ive done, I dont think its the smartest idea to have a Guinea Pig and a Hamster together. Some of my reasons are: 1) A Guinea Pig's cage has long bars, unlike a hamster's cage. A hamster would easily squeeze out the Guinea Pig cage's bars (i know from experience). And a hamster cage isnt quite suitable for a Guinea Pig, mostly because a Guinea Pig gets much bigger then a hamster does. 2) They have a very different diet. Guinea pigs eat plants, when Hamsters eat plant AND meat. the guinea pig would get sick if he/she accidentally ate the meat. 3) Hamsters are nocturnal, Guinea Pigs are not. the hamster would get very annoyed with the Guinea Pig, who would probably want to be up in the day time, squeaking away as the Hamster trys to sleep. and this could lead to a fight. I hope this answered your question!
Guinea pigs need space to move around in, and some hamster cages are pretty small. Ideally a guinea pig needs at least 0.75 sq. m. If your pet seems like it does not like its cage, get a bigger cage soon
If they are both friendly, yes. If not no.
Yes, i bought one Guinea pig and added another around the same time, and they get along great.
A Guinea pig they live longer and they are bigger so they wont escape if u shut their cage properly
