If they view it as a Christmas party then no, as Christmas is not celebrated. But many Witnesses do attend by viewing it instead as an end of year party.
Since Jehovah's Witnesses do not celebrate birthdays, it would be best to respect their beliefs and not get them a card at all.
You should dress very modestly. No low-cut tops or skirts way above the knee.
Well they don't reject education. Like, my family members have a good education and we are Jehovah witnesses. They think that if you stay at the campus then you will get in trouble and not really be there to study any thing. You will just party all night and not get the education you want. Also, if go to a major university you will not be focused on what is necessary in life like being a Jehovah's witness.
Nothing will happen to you.
An adverse witness is a witness who is called by the opposing party in a legal proceeding or trial. This witness is expected to provide testimony that is unfavorable or contradictory to the position of the party that called them.
No, we can't. This a party about a male about to get married. The activity behind this entirely against our beliefs about chastity. A true Christian man knows by heart that it is against the will of Jehovah to break this rule. Otherwise, if the person attended the party and another JW finds this out, he will be probably disfellowshipped. This may depend on cultural differences around the world. Here in Great Britain in the past it was not practiced but in the last twenty years it has become normal and popular for Jehovah's Witnesses getting married to have stag and hen parties. No sexual impropriety is encouraged or tolerated though, which may sometimes be the case in some cultures. They generally are a time for going out to a party, having some alcohol and a meal and a visit to a nightclub for dancing.
Some good ideas for throwing a great Christmas party are as follows; a less stressful Christmas party which is held during weekends this idea is great since everybody most probably can attend the party with less stress, Decorating early is also one of the suggestion and lastly having someone to cater the party.
When hosting a Christmas party in school a notice will need to be sent out to those who will attend. Include in the script the date, time, place, and any pertinent information about bringing gifts and food.
being a witness i hope i could answer that. this is up to your sister. if she thinks that you will be doing immoral things at her reception, then she will most likely not invite you. but, if she trusts you or if you come to some agreement that you will act somewhat christian like, then that is simply up to her conscience.
=== === Yes. In fact they can attend church to go to another person's funeral or wedding if they so wish. It is just a matter for personal conscience, as long as the person is only attending church just for the wedding or funeral.
no party city does not open of christmas eve or christmas
Jehovah's Witnesses throw any kind of party that respects biblical principles and isn't associated with false religious ceremonies.
