Sure... for a little while. First, you'll notice your fuel filters clogging. Then perhaps you'll replace a fuel pump or two. Finally, you'll have to have your motor taken apart because the injectors became clogged.

To run on biodiesel, a ULSD motor requires conversion, which includes replacing the fuel lines, replacing the fuel pump, and replacing the injectors.

Why would they clog up if the oil has been filtered and washed?

As long as you strain/wash it and use 5050 you'll never run into a problem. If you're running pure, upgrade your lines tank and replace the filter every now and then more often so if running 100%. Don't do it in cold temps unless you add an oil heater to the new fuel line.
