No. A Sufi or Dervish is a member of a mystical Islamic tradition, Sufism. Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) cannot be both Muslim and Mormon at the same time. Likewise, a Muslim cannot be both Muslim and Mormon at the same time.
According to Gurdjieff (who was Christian) and Idries Shah (who was a Sufi from a Muslim background) the essence of Sufism is a mystical understanding not incompatible with other religions. Sufism is also connected with the Masonic tradition, which has actually been very influential in the Western world. There have been Jewish and Hindu Sufis, and yes, there are and have been Sufis very strong in the Islamic faith. It is more a nickname than anything else, and the LDS are supposed to recognize truth wherever it may be found.
So I am dissenting with the answer above, with all due respect to Muslims, Mormons, Masons, or anybody, however they see the matter.
