There are two theoretical obstacles to a Muslim being a judge for show dogs: (1) Objections from the Show Dog organizations and (2) Objections from Islam.

Dog Show Objections

Dog show judges are certified based on expertise, not race, ethnic background, etc. As a result, there is no reason why an adequately qualified Muslim would be prevented from the judging a dog show on account of his religion.

Islamic Objections

It depends on a lot of factors. For eg. if your work does not allow you to attend your daily prayers, it is not allowed. If your work goes against the teachings of the Koran and the Prophet (peace be upon him), it is not allowed.

I prefer to look at this problem from a logical point of view and not an extremist view. A religious scholar who does not even know what goes on in a dog show may not be the right person to answer your question. In my opinion, you may be in a better position to answer this question. Just take each of your responsibilities in the dog show and ensure that it is not un-islamic. If found so you can go ahead. And ALLAH knows best. May He forgive me if I have spoken wrong.
