No You can not Play PSP games on a PS3. You can download the games from the PlayStation Store and they will be listed under your games, but they must be played on a PSP. I just download the free LittleBigPlanet for PSP as part of the customer appreciation program and no it would not let me play it and I have all the current PS3 updates well past 3.15. But it was free and I have room in the harddrive
