no. (All) syrian hamsters as adults are very teritoral.it is ok for syrian hamsters to share a cage if thay are under the age of 5 weeks. When they get around the age of 4 weeks you (Must) separate them. Or there fights could be faital.
I would suggest none. I would suggest this because Teddy Bear hamsters are solitary creatures, meaning they like to live alone. Teddy Bear and other species of hamsters only live together when they mate. If you want to have more than one hamster living together I would suggest dwarf hamsters, they don't like to be held though and are super fast so they might escape quite a few times. With dwarf hamsters you can have 3 - 4 dwarf hamsters at a time in the same cage. With this I would say don't put girls and boys together either put them in separate cages or have just boys/girls unless you want to have babies. You can put them together but just to warn you: If you have boys and girl dwarf hamsters together they might mate and have little hammies. :)
if they like each other and won't fight it should be fine
sure
They have developed from Syria and from that comes the Syrian, golden, or teddy bear hamster. Hope I helped!
A teddy bear hamster is a type of syrian hamster and can be identified usually by their golden fur. Russian dwarf hamsters are much smaller than syrian hamsters so it is easy to tell them apart
definitley syrian. they live longer and are waaay less wild then dwarf hamsters. the dwarfs we used to have batted bit and were wild. the syrians and teddy bear hamsters we had were calm and easy to take care of. First time owner: don't hold your hamster for the first couple of days or they may get wet tail :)
Syrian Hamsters will kill and eat a gerbil, do not put them together in the same cage.
Teddy bear hamster is another name for a syrian hamster. Syrian hamsters are very territorial and are the only type of hamster which needs to live alone. If put with another the chances are they will fight. If you wish to keep hamsters in pairs it is better to buy Russians or Chinese hamsters which are more compatible.
Fuji.
it really depends what hamster you've got .. if its a Syrian hamster or (golden, teddy bear). then NO the hamsters will continually fight and kill each other if they are dwarf you could but you will have to try them in a neutral environment
I'm not sure but i believe dwarf hamsters but most dwarf hamsters are mean i prefer teddy bear hamsters (but they only last about 2 years) there really nice thought
Cricetidae family
No!!!! They will fight till one of them is severely injured or dead.
Exactly like any other Syrian hamster. There are some who believe the Black Bear hamster is slightly more aggressive though, so it's not the best choice for a young child.
Syrian hamster - 2-3 years Dwarf - 1-2 years
