If you mean the car breaks all by it self, you may have a problem with your computer.
If you mean the abs isn't working, you may have a problem with the sensor, which is not something you probably want to play with, or it may be a blown fuse.
You don't have to. When you have fixed the problem the abs light will reset itself.
the sensor is in the brake pad itself, it clips in top of brake pad
HAVE A MECHANIC SCAN YOUR ABS SYSTEM THROUGH THE ECM. IT IS MOST LIKELY A FAULTY WHEEL SPEED SENSOR OR MAY BE THE ABS HYDRAULIC MODULATOR ITSELF. HAVE A MECHANIC SCAN YOUR ABS SYSTEM THROUGH THE ECM. IT IS MOST LIKELY A FAULTY WHEEL SPEED SENSOR OR MAY BE THE ABS HYDRAULIC MODULATOR ITSELF.
It is located in the wheel hub. If the speed sensor fails, you have to replace the hub.If you have an ABS light coming on and the ABS computer says the speed sensor, don't rule out the wires as we had our speed sensor wires break. They were so thin that they couldn't even be soldered, so it is not surprising that they could break.
To test an abs sensor for a Lexus ES you will need to use a multimeter. The multimeter will determine if the abs sensor works or not.
You may have a wheel berring gone, which can turn on the ABS light, or the sensor itself may be faulty. A blown fuse for the ABS system will also cause the light to come on.
Yes all 4 side has abs sensor but you got to go to a mechanic shop to diagnose and which abs sensor is not working
could be a blown fuse or you could check by the break caliper your abs lines are there make sure the lines are not broke ripped torn etc. the lines lead to an abs sensor check the sensors make sure they are functioning properly
It should reset by itself, unless there is a problem with the system. Have it checked or check the sensor.
how do you check the abs sensor on a 1998 contour
Where can i find the right wheel abs sensor
You may have damaged an ABS sensor or ABS sensor wiring. Go back and check each wheel.
