Could either be a bad brake wheel cylinder (caliper) or a bad CV joint axle seal
I think you mean axle shaft joint. The usual symptom of a bad axle shaft joint is a crunching noise when turning corners.
A bad cv joint/axle shaft on the front will make a clicking noise when turning.
I think you mean axle shaft joint. A crunching noise, especially when turning corners suggests bad axle shaft joints.
Bad CV joint on the axle maybe?
Tires need balancing? Bad C/V joint on axle?
Could be,wheel balance, bad universal joint, bad axle CV joint,
Bad CV joint, loose rim, Loose caliper
I am assuming the axle cv joint itself is bad an not just the boot. If the cv joint is bad you will have to replace the whole axle itself. 1. Drain transmission fluid. 2. Remove wheel. 3. Loosen and remove axle nut and remove whatever is necessary to free axle from wheel/suspension area. 4. Using a prybar or large screwdriver pop axle out of transmission and replace.
Really not that bad to do. Order of removal remove wheel remove brake/ brake assy/caliper remove wheel bearing OR remove ball joint/tie rod and move spindle out of way to be able to pull axle out pull u-joint and axle out replace u joints assy is reverse of removal
Low tire pressure Frozen brake caliper Bad alignment Worn front end parts (tie rod ends Pitman arm) Bent axle
sound like a bad cv joint aka axle shaft check rubber boots on left and right axle if they are cracked and open chances are cv joint went bad from lack of luberication and contaminents
