Head gasket or cracked head. Mo
cracked head or bad gasket
Could be several things. Typically, oil burning is blue smoke, and water/antifreeze is white smoke. With a combination of fast oil leak *and* white smoke, my guess would be to check the Cylinder Head Gasket or a cracked Cylinder Head.
a leak in a head gasket could cause coolant to go into only one cylinder.
An antifreeze leak.An antifreeze leak.
A gm 3.8 l v6 or 3800 cc engine cannot have antifreeze in exhaust without first getting into the engine. If its getting into the exhaust it may be entering the cumbustion chambers through a damaged cylinder head or head gasket. Also this engine depending on the model year may have issues with the intake manifold gasket, that can cause antifreeze to leak into the engine oil.
You possibly have a leak in the cylinder head gasket. You possibly have a leak in the head gasket.
Cracked head or a blown head gasket. good luck.
A common cause of problems in cylinder head gaskets is leaks in the gasket. When a leak forms, the gasket must be replaced.
If the leak is oil either an upper or lower oil seal (crankshaft or camshaft). If the leak is antifreeze, freeze out plug or for a four cylinder, potential head gasket, thermostat housing. or possibly the water pump has gone bad
If your going through coolant then you have an internal head gasket leak you smell coolant because its getting into cylinder and burning
maybe your head gasket
