Hell no
Blue, Brindle, Fawn, Black, pretty much any color except all white or merle
What is a blue nose pit bull? When people refer to a blue pit bull they're referring to its color, in this case a faded black or dark grey. A blue nose pit is simply a regular pit bull that has a dark grey nose.
A blue Pit Bull is black at the K Locus and has 2 alleles of the recessive dilute gene at the D Locus. Dilute gene diluted black pigment to blue / gray. So a black Pit will be blue, a brindle will be blue brindle, fawn will have blue mask or shading, a black & tan will be blue & tan.
Red Red Fawn Buckskin Black Seal Chocolate White Merle (not accepted by the registries but there are pure ones out there) And rarely blue fawn and blue. The APBT blue looks almost black because the dilute gene is appiled once to a black coat. It is bred on and applies multiple times so the bullies look a lighter blue. They can some in brindle of any of these colors. They can have any amount of white.
Yep I got one.
Pitbull" is not a breed. American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, and the Staffordshire Bull Terrier are the breeds that are generally called pit bulls. rednose pits or blue pits are terms back yard breeders make up to con people out of more money for their pups. these are only colors. Ignore the top comment, when people say "pit bull" they mean the American Pit Bull Terrier, however over many years the term pit bull have been used to describe any breed that look like the real pit bulls. These are uneducated people. Pit bulls come in all colors, red, blue, black, white, chocolate, etc. Because pit bulls were originally bred for what they could do not color. But over years idiots got their hands on the breed, and only bred for color, head size, etc. That completely destroys the pit bull and what they were originally bred to do. So when you see someone advertising, blue pit bulls or red pit bulls, with big heads and wide chest. DON'T buy these dogs, these people just want your money and don't care for the dog. Never get a dog for looks but for what they can do. And besides these dogs are usually unhealthy since they have been bred to dogs of the same color over, and over again, which leads to genetic problems.
There are many places where one could purchase red, white, and blue balls for a ball pit. The best places to purchase balls for a ball pit would be stores like Amazon.
"Blue-nose" is a fad street term for a blue dilute dog. Both the dilute blue gene and the "rednose" gene are simple recessives, caused by two entirely different genes, that "wash out" coat color, or "dilute" it. The blue gene dilutes black to gray, not just on the hair, but on skin as well, so a dilute blue dog will have a slate gray nose pad, lips and eyelids instead of black.
Pit bulls come in several colors: Red, white, black, brindle, red-brindle, chocolate, tricolor, fawn, tan, seal, and different shades of browns, brindle and reddish. The colors not allowed in the UKC standard are liver and black and tan. Most purebred American Pit Bulls do not come in blue.
A blue nose pit and a red nose pit are like yellow labs and black labs. The same exact breed, just different coloration. So, nope, neither is better.
midnight or.... it depends on his personally.
Their nose is a different colour. The way you tell is simply look. That said, occasionally a pit will also have a purplish nose. A blue pit is a diluted form of black, the recessive red trait manifested in an otherwise black dog. The ADBA, classifies the "blue nose " as blue/grey nose. A pit bull as well as many terrier breeds can have either a black or self colored nose. All pure bred blue pits have both black and also red red nosed dogs in the ancestry, it may be 10 generations back, but a blue pit is simply a black pit with diluted pigments. Its common to breed 2 blue pits and have a litter of all black pups. Many chocolate colored pits have brown noses. Often pits with white faces have pink noses. Ive even seen a blue pup with a white head, and a red nose. Blue nose, red nose, purple nose. They are all self colored noses. If you are unsure what color is called blue, look at a pair of faded jeans. A blue pit is a bluish grey color. A red pit is from Gold, almost yellow to deep red, like a barn. If the nose looks red, pinkish, or brown. most call it red nosed. If it looks grey or blueish, its called blue. Any dog that's supposed to be blue fawn, or blue brindle, should have a grey nose. For more info go to ADBA home page and look up color charts in the registration section.
