If you have a brown anole it is usually severelly stressed which might have to do with other anoles it is living with, tempereature of habitat, food etc.
Actually, the OP could be referring to a consistently brown species such as a Bahaman anole.
yes there different colors are just to show what mood their in if their green there happy and relaxed if there brown there deppressed and are not that happy so yes a brown 1 and green 1 can mate
yep. Just make sure you have a fairly large inclosure. Owner to 13 anoles and 2 long tailed lizards.
No. They live in two different envirements so I don't recommend.
i think i read an article saying it is rare, but good luck trying.
Green anole are the most common in NC. Also the long tailed lizard.
definitely not a good idea, they tend to eat &/or torture them
They live in the canopy.
a long tail lizard, other green anoles, bahman anoles, and curly tailed lizards can live with green anoles.... I've had them all in with green anoles.... they've done great!
No, one is a snake and one is a lizard. The garter snake will eat the lizard. I would not suggest housing ANY reptiles together unless you are breeding two of them.
No, they may eat the lizard. Toads usually attack anything that will fit in their mouth.
Most Spiny tailed lizards live in North Africa
long tailed lizards, green anoles, and house geckos get along fine (don't put a knight anole in very aggressive

no they live all over the southern US
No lizard can live in a 5 gallon enclosure. 10 gallons is the minimum for any lizard and there are plenty that can live in a 10 gallon 1) One Leopard Gecko 2) One Green Anole 3) One Brown Anole 4) One House Gecko 5) One Collared Lizard 6) One Fence Lizard 7) One Alligator Lizard ---These animals can live in a ten gallon BUT that is minimum and they should have a 20 gallon for maximum happiness but they live fine in a ten. The anoles are small enough that you should be able to have one happy happy lizard in a ten gallon ------Please do research before buying any lizard as a pet. They require for specific items. Special lighting, temperatures, humidity, food et.
