The buell uses a different rear motor mount configuration. Where there's a will, there's a way. It could be done but it won't be a simple bolt in opperation.
Bebe Buell goes by The Beeb.
It will fit either way. Whichever is easier.
The rear motor mount is the same four bolt configuration but will not line up because the offset of the engine is different and part of the crankcase fouls the swingarm pivot. If you don't mind cutting your ironhead frame about then yes it can be done but it requires a fair bit of surgery. I decided to alter the engine to fit the frame instead. Things to take into account 1/The evo motor is taller than the ironhead and the rear pot will not clear the frame 2/You can make offset rear motor mounts, it needs to go approx 10mm to the right as you sit on the bike for the l/h lower crankcase to clear the l/h lower frame rail 3/Part of the crankcase at the rear does not clear the swingarm pivot and will need milling for clearance 4/The front edge of the crankcase on the cam cover side may need slight clearancing to avoid frame down tube on right hand side 5/You will need to make one off front mount plates/top mount plates and front cylinder mount. 6/On mine rather than notch the frame I channelled the rear rocker cover to fit 7/ I had to make one off exhaust as the rear pipe fouled the oil tank and the front was on the frame Basically lots of one off fabrication work, but it can be done
I don't think so, I think the K-frame has to be changed to go to a V8, you could always use motor plates to install it.
There may be clearance for the motor to fit in the frame, but you will have to modify the frame to bolt the motor into it. A main concern would be how the back of the motor lines up for the swingarm shaft to go through. Also will the carb intake boot line up with the airbox boot? A lot of questions you wouldn't know until you (or someone else) tries it.
Just pull the old engine out and install a new one , you have to change motor mounts or the K-frame if you go to a bigger engine.
If you are going to go all stock then yes, otherwise engine mounts, controls and drive components can all have new mounts fabricated to make them work on your custom frame.
there are bolts that go through the frame to the body that have to come out before you can raise the body off the frame, also all wiring has to be disconnected from the motor and the firewall.
my dad has an 01 cr250r and i have an 01 yz250. starting off with the cr, the motor is honestly one of the best motors you can throw in a frame but the 01 frame was horrible. it felt like honda strapped a motor to a merry go round horse and sold it. the bike was horrible. on the other hand the yz's motor didnt have as hard of a " hit " but pulled better and harder through all gears and handled great. not a single flaw on the yamaha. Go yami or go home.
It would probably be too heavy and unstable to race.
Well, this just happened with my car and what I have to get done with it means that half the motor needs to come out to get to it. Well, for half of the motor to come out you have to take out the whole thing. Once you do that you can then reach the bolt and I'm sure you know where to go from there. but your gonna have to drop the motor to reach it.
Inside the metal frame of the door on the passenger side clipped to the frame. hey if your window motor works but your window doesn't go up or down, its "Ford window regulator studs", autozone has them for like $5-$10, there is 3 to a pack and easy to install...Hey go to www.lincolnsonline.com and find the TECH link, they have so much there to help on many problems...
