Actually the answer above is completely wrong. In South Carolina when you are 17 years old you are considered a legal adult. Yes, you can drop out of school. If you would like to be withdrawn then your parents need to sign a paper. However, if you just no longer attend school then eventually you will be dropped from the roster. Once you are 17 years old truancy does not apply to you.

McDonald's may give you part time work, not full though and being a hooker will get old eventually..... You may want to invest one more year to provide yourself with a infinitely better life.
