don't know why I don't have an answer to my question
The transmission control module is mounted under the dash. It is on the driver's side, beside the ECM module.
On a 1994 VW Golf, the alarm can be turned off by disconnecting the smaller of two connectors coming from the Comfort Control Module. The Comfort Control Module is located behind the dashboard, to the left of the steering column.
ECM, (Engine Control Module, Electronic Control Module) PCM, (Powertrain Control Module, Power Control Module) ECU, (Engine Control Unit, Electronic Control Unit).
It is located just in front of the driver's side seat, under the carpet.
The body control module can have everything to do with it. If the engine computer and the body control module do not have communication between one another than the engine will start then die after 2 sec.
As I know it is for electric windows, electric dooor locks and alarm. Might also control interior lights.

Well Im having this same problem and someone told me it was my relay. I dont really know what that is but it might help!
The module is located underneath the battery tray and mounted with 2 bolts from the top side. best way is to remove the battery and tray to get access.
What you are looking for is called an (HVAC Control Module) but what you need to do is scan the vehicles computer first before changing this out.............
It is located under the carpet of the drivers side. You should not need to remove the seat to access it.
