yes- absolutely. don't listen to any of these answers on here. Call the NYS education department yourself at 518-474-3817 ext 330. You will have to show proof that you have changed your life, eg.- programs, counseling, letters from professors, your college, etc, etc. You will have an interview with a NYS education review employee that will determine whether you are eligible or not. Any documentation you can give to prove you have made significant progress will help. Now, that being said, I would imagine that the AMOUNT of felonies and the specific type (violent or non-violent) will change your chances of being licensed. More people pass this review than not. Most of all, have faith and keep the faith. Who better to help people with social difficulties than someone who has been there , and changed their life?
no because he or she is a felon
No

No, a convicted felon is not allowed, by law, to work at a business that deals in firearms.

A convicted felon should not run an apartment complex. They should work jobs where they are not in control of a lot of people, especially when others safety is involved.
No, absolutely not. A convicted felon may not own, possess, or have access to firearms.
It has always been mandatory for a convicted felon to work to show/display that they are not involved in criminal activities.
A convicted felon has a tough time when it comes to employment unless the person knows somebody that can help them out. I have a job only because they didnt check my record but it not a decent paying job.
