No felon can work in a government position, including a school
My school has been debating on should felons be allowed to vote. We have entered the topic of can felons be a normal citizen when they are released from jail. Apparently the answer to the question is no a convicted felon cannot work as a firefighter in any state after they have been released.
no because he or she is a felon
No
No. A background check is done to determine if a person has no record and can work with an area with children.
No, a convicted felon is not allowed, by law, to work at a business that deals in firearms.
Yes, if the job does not call for employment by a government agency, or licensure by the state, and if your employer will hire you.
yes, if he choses to hire you. as long as you won't be violating requirements about selling alcohol, etc.
yes why not
If that oil refinery will hire him, AND that particular state does not have restrictions on former felons' holding HAZMAT certification.
It may depend on the licensing requirements for this opccupation in your state. You will have to contact the state agency that licenses this occupation to find out.
