The answer lies in the fine print on the agreement you signed when you accepted the card. The general answer is "no" unless you give them a reason like a late payment. Then the gloves come off. Perhaps an offer of low initial interest has expired and a newer, higher rate is now in force. Drag out your copy of the agreement and read it through. Use a microscope if you need to. Or call your card company and ask them why they changed the terms. This is well know territory for the card companies. What's worse, if you have a problem and want to take legal action, you are stuck (by the contract) with arbitration. And with an arbitration company that the card company is paying regularly to handle their disputes. Good luck.
No, not legally.
No, not legally.
be 16 with a parent's consent, or 18 without
not without child's consent..
With consent, yes. Without consent, no. If you do take them in without consent, it could cause legal issues, up to and including kidnapping charges.
Actually this might come as a surprise to you that it is against the Law to move out with or without parental consent before you are 19.
No. You'd need parental consent.
No, a company who wants to make a loan is not allowed to pull your credit without your consent. If you've filled out an application form or provided your information to the bank, in the interest of obtaining a loan they have every right (and if in writing, your consent) to do a credit check to view your history.
