Yes, it is possible for anyone to die if they inject too much insulin. What will occur is something called insulin shock. Their blood glucose will drop and they can go into a coma. In extreme cases this can be followed by death.

If you inject a diabetic shot by mistake would you be diabetic?

You do not become diabetic by injecting yourself with insulin; your body naturally produces insulin. You become diabetic when your pancreas stops working well (or stops working at all.) However, you could lapse into a coma and die if there is too much insulin in your body. Do NOT inject insulin into yourself or anyone else unless told by a doctor to do so.

Can you die from injecting insulin if you don't need it?

Yes. Insulin shock (an overdose of insulin) is a classic murder device even in Agatha Christie books, it is also a frequent problem with type 1 diabetics who do not have good sugar control or engage in strenuous exercise after injecting a normal dose of insulin for a sedentary period. With too much insulin in the blood the body rapidly uses up all the sugar available to it (hypoglycemia). The body uses sugar as fuel, without fuel the organs start to die. The first organ to be affected is the brain, later failures include breathing and heartbeat.

Can you explain insulin in easy terms?

insulin burns sugar in food that people eats... the inability of the body to make insulin makes him diabetic... diabetes makes the blood vessels clogged... if you don't have enough blood flow then you'll die.

Can you die from injecting heroine into your penis?

What happens if a non diabetic person takes high dose of insulin?

The blood glucose level will go down and the person may die after going in hypoglycemic coma or get brain damage.

What will happen if a diabetic injects and overdose of insulin?

Insulin reduces blood sugar. Taking too much insulin will drastically lower the body's blood sugar. Your body needs this glucose for fuel, and without it, it cannot function. A person with low blood sugar will start to have symptoms such as shaking, confusion, sweating, hunger, lightheadedness, and eventually will lose consciousness if their blood sugar does not rise. If their blood sugar drops too low, and is not treated, the person will die.

Is the following example irony You are wearing a zombie shirt to a Twilight movie premier?

No. Irony requires something happening, the opposite of what is expected. Zombies are seperate but in no way opposing to vampires in general or twilight in particular. At best, irony would be a person whose last name is Van Helsing wearing a "I love Dracula" T-shirt, but even that example is stretching it a bit. Best example of irony is from George Carlin: A diabetic is on his way to buy some insulin, without the insulin he will die. The diabetic is hit by a truck and dies, it is just tragic. The diabetic is hit by a surgar truck and dies, it is poetic but not ironic. The diabetic is hit by an insulin truck and dies, THAT is irony.

Can people die from pineapples?

No, not unless:One drops on your head from a great distance. You go into a sugar shock if you're a type one diabetic and eat too much natural sugar from fruits including pineapple without injecting insulin when needed. You're allergic. You choke on a piece. One is used as a blunt object to batter you to death.Pineapples mutate due to radiation, grow arms and legs and begin slaughtering humans in their sleep in revenge for eating their cousins.

How to wein off insulin?

My first question is why? If you are a type 2 diabetic and your pancreas does not produce enough insulin or a type 1 diabetic and it does not produce ANY in order to survive, then why would you want to ween yourself off of something that is vital to your survival???????????? without enough insulin your body cannot process the food you eat correctly the result of such an action of "weening" oneself off of insulin would be an extremely high level of sugar circulating in your bloodstream. You would quickly go into cardiac arrest and die! NOT SAFE A VERY BAD IDEA............If you are having these thoughts then I suggest you seek professional medical help to try and gain a clearer perspective on your situation......
