It depends what you think of a vegetarian, a vegetarian can be a vegitarian because they don't like that taste of meat, or because they don't believe in eating other animals. a dog can be a vegetarian because they don't like the taste of meat.

I have never seen a dog that didn't like the taste of meat or chicken and I have owned many dogs. But I suppose it's possible.
Under optimal dietary conditions, yes. However, you have to very carefully balance the dog's fat and protein needs to ensure you are providing all nutrients required. Dogs are not naturally vegetarians - they are primarily carnivores - so it would be humans changing nature to suit their own purposes to shift a dog from a meat-based diet to a plant-based diet.
Yes. The worlds oldest dog - Bramble, was vegetarian.
A dog is a carnivore but can be an omnivore when needs require.

Your dog is not a cow
Omnivore with a carnivore tendency. If you are vegetarian you don`t eat meat AT ALL. Dogs do.
Maybe the quality food its low, Dogs need a balance : he best ratios for a healthy dog's diet are about 50% meat, 50% vegetables, grain-free, wheat-free, and no cheap fillers. Think twice before making your dog go vegetarian. Dogs need protein. Would a dog naturally be vegetarian? No. Most veterinarians and practitioners agree that although a dog can survive on a vegetarian diet, they may not thrive on it.
NO HORSES ARE VEGETARIAN AND THEY CAN MAKE THEM EXTREMLY ILL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, they can be just fine (even healthier sometimes) on a vegetarian diet. Not cats though - just in case anyone was wondering. :) The longest living dog 'Brambles',a Border Collie, lived to the age of 27 (189 in dog years) on a vegetarian diet.
Well a lot of people think he is. But in Decoy of a Dog he eats a sandwich that has ham.
first he takes the vegetarian animal across(goat?) then he comes back and gets the cabbage. He takes the cabbage acros and leaves it on the other side but he takes the vegetarian animal back with him. He leaves the vegetarian animal and takes the carnivour animal (dog ?) across to the side where the cabbage is. He leaves the dog with the cabbage and goes back and picks up the goat.
no there isn't but some religions are vegetarian so they wont eat dog meat
