Yes. A fecalith is an obstruction in the rectal passage which prevents or makes difficult the passing of stools (you may see your cat straining to defecate, typically arching their backs and lifting their tails very high). Diarrhea can still occur and, obviously, this is not as difficult to pass as a firmer stool, as the matter can pass through the passage past the fecalith, assuming the fecalith hasn't blocked the passage altogether. Depending on the size, position and number of fecaliths, they can be surgically removed, digitally manipulated out, or 'flushed' out via catheterization. In any event, your cat will need to be attended to by a vet as fecaliths can prove fatal if left unattended.
If your cat has diarrhea, get him Feline Gastralox.

Human is to Feline, as Feline is to Kit. (In my eyes cats are like children <house hold> and Kits are Feline children)
My kitten had F.I.P. It is an uncurable and 98% fatal disease. Feline Infectious Peritonitis [F.I.P.] is a mutated form of the feline coronavirus. The symptoms include an expanding stomach, [due to liquids in the stomach] and diarrhea. It is a very sad disease because it is almost always fatal and suffering for the cat. I had to put mine down 2-3 weeks after the diarrhea symptom. The cat lies around all day just wanting to be petted.
Not necessarily. Many many things can cause diarrhea. I suggest you take your cat into your local Veterinarian and have her checked out, take in a sample of her feces too. She will dehydrate quickly if nothing is done to treat her so get her into your Vet pronto.
There is only one product on the market that treats all GI problems in cats. Feline Gastralox. It works great. You can find it on Amazon.com.
