A fly cannot kill a human being, or even another animal, with it's fart. There are more than 120,000 species of flies and have never been know to harm anyone with their farts.
The best time is not to kill it. Try to just get into a room and shut the door. It will protect you if it trys to sting you. I recommend having an electric fly zapper if you absoluetly need to kill it. If you can lead it outside and quickly get back inside and shut the door. Hope this helps. :D

Some of them you can spray on your skin and because they hate the scent of it, they keep away from you.
No. But the crane fly has enough venom in it to kill a human. Thankfully its small mouth is not big enough to puncture the skin rendering the venom useless against humans, but not insects that it preys on. e.g. gnats and stuff :D
