Yes, a G2 class licence holder can drive alone at any time. The night time driving restriction is applicable to G1 drivers only. However, as a new G2 driver, you cannot have more than 1 passenger 19 years old or under between midnight and 5 a.m. for the first 6 months of being licensed with your G2. After those first 6 months - no more than 3 passengers 19 years of age or younger between midnight and 5 a.m.
