yes they can but if you have any other pet keep them inside so the gerbil won't get eaten outside
THERE IS NO OUTDOOR WEATHER SAFE FOR A GERBIL! If your gerbil is outside, it can run away or get eaten by a hawk or something! Maybe if you put it in a ball outside in the spring or fall, but you'll need to stay with it the entire time it is outside. But putting a gerbil outside unprotected is really dangerous, even if you are right there.
It is save as long as the weather is not to hot outside, and most of all make sure the ball cage is really tide so he wont go off running on you.....
pet gerbil! pet gerbil or a pet mouse, go to the related link to see what pet is for you!
well, you cant make a gerbil go through a tube if he doesnt want to. you have to wait until the gerbil is comfortable with the tube in its presence, then he might explore it, but that could take a while. If you want the gerbil to go inside quicker though.. try putting a treat or two inside the tube, and make sure the gerbil knows they are there. Then the gerbil will go inside if he wants those treats. (just saying, he might wait a bit) once he is inside it once, he will probably go in again!! =D
It depends. If your gerbil is tired, not very long as he will go to sleep. But a young, active gerbil may run all night on its wheel!
If your gerbil is tilting, you should go to the vet quickly. This means that your gerbil has got an injury in its ear . Watch out! Get some medical treatment for your gerbil IMMEDIATELY.
you dont it will run away and you will never find it again unless it is in a ball
Yes this may happen if you make the gerbil bit you it will go away from the wind because it's cold or hot.
they will lay on the cage not on the bedding or hiding place. so if they do and it is very warm outside take them outside in the cage and put them somewhere in the shade. that's what I do
Yes! You shouldn't keep any small pet outside a cage- they could easily escape or get stepped on.It is best to keep them in an aquarium at least ten gallons for each gerbil and then another 5 for each additional gerbil with at least 3 inches of bedding
is not in it enough or poo house or scared
Yes, as long as its kept warm, out of direct sunlightght, they can't get out if their cage and not near draughts
