you dont it will run away and you will never find it again unless it is in a ball
yes they can but if you have any other pet keep them inside so the gerbil won't get eaten outside
THERE IS NO OUTDOOR WEATHER SAFE FOR A GERBIL! If your gerbil is outside, it can run away or get eaten by a hawk or something! Maybe if you put it in a ball outside in the spring or fall, but you'll need to stay with it the entire time it is outside. But putting a gerbil outside unprotected is really dangerous, even if you are right there.
they will lay on the cage not on the bedding or hiding place. so if they do and it is very warm outside take them outside in the cage and put them somewhere in the shade. that's what I do
Yes! You shouldn't keep any small pet outside a cage- they could easily escape or get stepped on.It is best to keep them in an aquarium at least ten gallons for each gerbil and then another 5 for each additional gerbil with at least 3 inches of bedding
Like if you intruduce a baby gerbil to a female and a male gerbil they might be nice to him but the male gerbil might play fight or fight in the cage i do not think if you leave the baby gerbil in the same cage with the male gerbil or a female gerbil the female gerbil migt fight or play fight with the baby gerbil if u do please be real care full because if the male gerbil no that the babby gerbil if its a baby girl gerbil yhey will mate or if u do the same with the adult female gerbil they mate to with a baby boy gerbil or adult gerbil will mate to and also mate means that the female gerbil have babbies with the male gerbils .
a gerbil is called a gerbil
Yes, as long as its kept warm, out of direct sunlightght, they can't get out if their cage and not near draughts
Yea it could be possible. Unless of course you are to bath it regularly and make sure that it and it's cage are clean. It isn't always the case. Do you take this gerbil outside at all? If so, yes it could have bugs. To get rid of this just simply give the gerbil and it's cage a good cleaning.
She has a gerbil called Gerry. The gerbil nibbled on the treat.
It depends on how calm your gerbil is outside of its home. If he is not calm outside of his home then you probaly shouldn't take him anywhere. Anyway, if he is calm then you should put him in your pocket. If you put him on your shoulder then he will freak out. There are no leshes for gerbils. If there were leashes for gerbils it WOULD KILL them. Gerbils how to get used to where they usually are.
