Unfourtunetly some foods can make your guinea pig sick, and some bedding even! The bedding to avoid is anything pine or pine scented. And you should aviod feeding your guinea pig potatoe and large amount of cabage.

∙ 15y agoNo, not really. The only way this would be an issue is if the child is allergic to the animal. You can keep the animal parasite free and keep it clean. These animals make good snuggle pets if you are careful with them.
