No; only girl mice can have babies (but they need a boy mouse to be the father). The problem is, it can be very difficult to tell a boy mouse from a girl mouse. Even the pet stores make mistakes. So sometimes those with pet mice are surprised when they think they have only boy mouse pets but babies appear. That means that at least one of those mice was a girl.

Hamsters are able to reproduce at about 4-5 weeks. ABLE but not READY, they are teenagers. It is healthier to wait for the animal to mature. The prime age for breeding a hamster for the first time is 4-6 months. At 9 months the risks of complications are a little higher if you are breeding for the first time, but odds are you would be fine. It is not recommended to breed an animal much older than 12 months. They become unable to have babies at about 18 months, as they are too old. Life expectancy is 18 months to 3 years on average.

They are two different species they can not crossbreed. Like my science teacher said "the key might fit but it won't turn"
