Can a hermit crab die if you play with it?

Stress, Lack of no food/water, Killed by another crab, Lack of friends (which means if they don't have other crabs in the tank, they'll be lonley and less active.) Old age, Tempature to hot/ too cold, too much misting/ too little misting, Falling dangerous heights, Attacked by bigger animals, and drowning from a bath.

If the fall wasn't hard enough to kill your hermit crab just put another shell about the same size in the dish. Hermit crabs change shells as they grow, so you always need to have another shell just a little larger in with him. Good luck.

It really all depends on how you play with it. It will die if you do certain things to it such as playing russian roulette or if you try and take it out of its shell it will rather die than be taken out.
