Laptops, themselves, don't explode. However, overheating is a serious problem that damages the internal electronics. The most volatile part of a laptop, the battery, CAN explode, however, when it overheats to a critical level. If you find your laptop getting too hot, shut it down, remove the battery and allow everything to cool down before turning it back on. To help prevent overheating make sure that all vents are free of dust and debris and the fans are working properly. It's recommended that you use a "cooling pad," as well, to help aid in improving ventilation.
yes, but it really only happens when are watching video's or loading a lot of things.
^ some laptops overheat even when your holding em on, i have one laptop like this
sorry but there really ain't much u can do about it
Only if the battery was allowed to reach temperatures well above the standard operating levels. All laptops which have displayed a tendency to explode have been immediately recalled. If you're planning on using a laptop for a long time then it'll be plugged in, in which case you should disconnect the battery once it reaches full charge to stop it losing its lifetime.
sure it can, specially if it doesn't originally belong to that laptop. You should always check your laptop's voltage, current and connector first before plugging something in.
When you're buying a charger, better to e-mail the shop with your laptop model # and its voltage/current, they should be able to tell you what will work. Try Googling Imperial Gadgets, they're where I got mine from but I'm sure they'll just answer a question or two even if you don't buy anything.
I do believe it can as charging bateries in excess will do the same thing..
yes it can
No, your charger will have to be a Toshiba charger
The wire has to have a very good connection, for instance I can plug my charger into my laptop and my laptop doesn't recognize that it is plugged in, If I don't have a can of compressed air then I blow in the end of my charger and blow in the computer where I plug the charger into and sometimes that works but keep in mind you have to blow pretty hard, compressed air works better. I guess that the dust can keep the cable from getting a connection. Or your cables could be bad.
the battery charger and the charger are the same thing. the charger charges the battery and the laptop runs off the power from the battery. hope this helps
Yes, if the output voltage and ampage are the same, at the same time, the dc connector is the same. Otherwise don't use a toshiba laptop charger to plug in a lenovo laptop charger.
the voltage of a laptop charger is in between fifteen to twenty four voltage.

Most laptop chargers are interchangeable as is the charger for the Sony Vaio. Providing the adapter has the same input cable cord, one should have no problems using a Vaio laptop charger on a different laptop.
Through the Dell website. There, you can match the specific charger you need to the specific laptop you have.
