Not if the lease is legal.

It is illegal for any sort of contract to demand criminal actions from one of the parties that signed it. If it does have any such demands the contract is invalid.

Can you break an apartment lease in Louisiana if you are purchasing a home?

In Louisiana, there is no specific law allowing a tenant to break their apartment lease if they are purchasing a home. Generally, tenants are bound by the terms of their lease and may be responsible for paying rent until the lease ends or find a replacement tenant. However, it is advisable to review the lease agreement for any early termination clauses or negotiate with the landlord for an early release.

You live in Washington and rent a condo the landlord told you before you can move out you have to find a new tenant can he by law require you to do this?

This is usually the standard requirement on a lease; absent a lease he cannot require this. But if you plan to move out before the lease expires then the landlord can require for you to find a replacement tenant, or you may be required to pay the rent for as long as the unit remains unoccupied, up to the time he finds a new tenant or the lease expires, whichever comes first.

History of a lease?

In most states a lease is a private contract by two individuals. Unless it is mandated by law, in most states do not require that either party keep a copy of this agreement after the lease is fullfilled. So if you need a copy of your lease, you must have it in your possession before you take legal action.
