No. I don't recall why, but it's the same reason that humans and monkeys can't breed. As far as I know, there is only one exception to this rule and I don't remember it exactly, but it's something to do with how we get mules. A horse and a donkey, I think. But no hamsters and mice.
Phil
possibly, but hampsters don't exist so i suppose we'll never know.
sometimes but they have to get used to each other first
Yes they can and will, but it is better for them to mate with a hamster they are not related to otherwise their 'children' or 'grandchildren' may have health problems.
I would put them in separate cages just to make sure they don't breed, unless you want little baby rodents all over the place.
Possibly, but that will create a new species, like when the donkey and the horse bred, they created the mule.
No
no
to tell you hamsters only like each other when they want to have kids
NO. You can not put two different animals in the same cage! This is dangerous. They may fight and the hamster will probably not live. So unless you want a dead hamster, do not put them together.
A pet mouse would live in a cage like a hamster cage.
If you get anotherfemale hamster the mother of the hammy they with fight and the female hamster will eat the baby hamster.! If you don't know if you have a female or male go to animal doctor and they will tell you if they female or male?
yes they can i have a hamster and she is quite happy.
Yes, they can pits like bigger animals and tougher meat. There for the pit and the hamster can live together. If you take your hamster out and put it in to a ball then don't let the pit near it or keep a close eye on it.
Hamsters don't really like living with each other, as sad as it sounds, it's true. Gerbils on the other hand like to live together. Now, if you want your hamsters to reproduce (make babies), then you would put a male with a female. If you don't want them to reproduce, female and female is best.
yeah, cause hamsters doesn't like to live with another hamsters. sometimes the hamster may be too kind and will live with his hamster mate. What i prefer is to make live in separate cages.
Yes - there is virtually no limit to how many female guppies can live together.
Well if you put them together in a cage they will mate or they could fight so, this is my opinion no I wouldn't unless you want them to have babies.
no, they should be in seperate cages.
after the baby hamster has been handled for a while sometimes the mother hamster will eat their young so be "careful".
