Yes, you may be frisked or searched by an officer of either sex. They are searching you for weapons to protect themselves from harm or injury. IF an officer of your same sex is present on the scene then CUSTOMARILY the same sex officer will do the searching but there is no requirement in law that it MUST be done that way. On the other hand, for a full "custodial" search (as when being logged into a jail or other detention facility), full body and body cavity searches are usually reequired to be done by same sex officers.
Define "not breaking the law." Define "searched." In the absence of a female officer, male officers, for their own protection, ARE allowed to conduct a pat-down "frisk" of a female's outer clothing. No invasive, under-the-clothing, or body cavity searches are allowable however. If the male officer feels that he is in danger from an 'under-the-clothes' weapon or that the female is concealing contraband he may handcuff the female and then await the arrival of a female officer for a more complete search.
The answer depends on department policy and can't be answered here.
Added: (in the US) I can safely say that virtually every law enforcement agency in this country has strict regulations regarding searching female arrestees AT THE STATION. If there is not a female officer readily available to conduct a custodial search, the female can be held in restraints until such time as a female officer responds to the station to do a proper search of them. Males are NOT ALLOWED to physically search female detainess UNLESS it is a male arresting officer on the street. Then, and only then, in the absence of a female officer on the scene of the arrest, the male for his own safety may do a frisk of the outer garments of the female and then place her in restraints until such time as she can be properly searched for concealed weapons or contraband.
Yes, it's an officer safety issue. Woman can carry weapons or dangerous items just like men.
Additional: In the absence of a female officer, male officers usually conduct a pat down 'frisk' of the females clothing and then usually cuff the female's hands behind her back until the arrival of a female officer who can conduct a more invasive search to rule out the arrestees possession of some type of weapon.
Body cavity searches are customarily NOT done on the street but at a station or detention facility and those are NEVER done by male officers.
"NO THEY CAN NOT" The sex of the officer must be the same as the accused. but there can be opposite sex officers can be present.. Search for firearms are excluded (UK Law)
Y/N depending on the situation, but usually NO>
Yes, if he otherwise has legal reasons to search her.
Everywhere. They dont see a problem because its to females. Same with a male and a male cop, he can search his junk and the guy cant say anything. BUT if they dont have probible cause then no one can search or touch you ANYWHERE.
Yes, she does kiss a girl in the song "Love Game" in the scene where she was kissing a male cop, then it changes to a woman cop.
No, it is not illegal for a male police officer to conduct a search on a female. However, officers of the same sex are generally preferred for conducting searches on individuals of the opposite sex to respect individuals' privacy and dignity.
Totally! He is a cop =D
not if you let him search it
No. The bag is an extension of her body. In her body is her bag, etc. and on her body is her physical, so it is clear that only a woman should search a woman and a man to search a man.
Yes
A male cob is simply a male cop whose p went up
If the cop has a warrant or if he thinks you stole something or if the cop thinks you have a weapon in a place you are not suppose to have the weapon.
The Woman Cop was created in 1980.
