yes they absolutely can! in the church of Jesus Christ of latter Day Saints when you become a member by getting baptized if you are 18 or older you can get a recommend for the lds temple and you can get married to the love of your life and be with your spouse forever for time and all eternity which means even after you die you can still be with your spouse in heaven if you don't get married in the temple after you die you have to go to spirit world and wait until someone does a ceremony of sealing for you on earth so you can go to judgment and go to the celestial kingdom. getting married in the temple is the most sacred and spiritual experience of your life
In many jurisdictions it is illegal to perform a marriage ceremony without a licence to do so. The marriage format can be determined by the religion under which it is performed but must include a form of words that ensure the bride and groom have made an informed commitment. It is then a requirement that the wedding be properly registered.
The alternative is to live together as a de-facto couple in what is sometimes known as 'common law marriage'. Simply living together can involve legal responsibilities to each other and can, if the couple wishes, be 'in the eyes of God'. There has been no marriage ceremony, religious or otherwise, so no law is broken.
Of course they can.
Well...the answer to this question depends on a couple of things. What is the profession of the female? Is she a physician or therapist? Was the married man one of her patients? Unless you have a situation where the female overstepped her boundaries as in violating a patient/doctor or patient/therapist relationship, losing her license is not likely. It would be helpful if you state what professional license she holds.
Not if she does not have a license. All drivers are required to have a license. If she does have a license, she can drive with them in the car.
A man and a woman can marry in one state only, with only one marriage license, not two from two different states. You can however renew your vows in a different state if you want to. But it is not legal to get married in another states when you're still married.
If you know the county in which he married the other woman, you can look at the court records in that county for the recorded marriage license since it is a matter of public records. If you do find records showing that he married another woman, then just make a copy of it, which will be your proof. But you will then need to find out if he ever divorced the other woman before marrying you, unless you know he married you first. And if he did marry a second wife without divorcing the first wife, then the second wife is not legally married to him and has no spousal rights.
A woman who lives with a man as if they were married but without actually getting married.
Depending on the country and state, getting married to a woman.
If you married a second woman without finalizing the divorce from the second, then you are a bigamist. This is illegal in the US, so you can be prosecuted. Finally, the second woman is not really married to you.
A man and a woman who are of legal age, and need an ID, such as a driver's license.
get a license from whatever county office you live in and before your 30 or 40 days runs out; go to city hall and get married or get married by a clergyman or woman-get them to sign the license and mail it off to the proper county office
No, But If You Wanna Find Out What is illegal in NC,One Of My Favorites? "If a man and a woman who aren't married go to a hotel/motel and register themselves as married then, according to state law, they are legally married."
No. That is why you hear on some TV shows of men who are married to more than one woman at a time. It is called Bigamy and is unlawful. But what happens as far as you are concerned is that the first marriage is the only legal one. The application for a license requires one to state that they are not currently married. If they are and lie about it, it invalidates the license and constitutes a crime. See additional comments on discussion page;
