While i don't know if you can get it dropped. It doesn't look like it from your argument. MIP is Minor "in possession" of alcohol. You were not arrested for drinking or having a blood alcohol level greater than the law allows. You were arrested for having prohibited alcohol in your possession. That means you were in control of the alcohol, not that you were drinking it. So no you will not get it dropped with that argument. Sorry
