You have to be 18 before you can leave home. Otherwise, you can be brought home and put on house arrest. If you are under the age of 18 and reported missing by one or both parents, you will be picked up by police and taken home.

∙ 16y agoOf course! If they don't feel like they are getting treated fairly, they will run away. Usually, though, they will come back because they wouldn't have anyone to run to. Don't quote me on this but i think if the parents of the runaway minor report the missing child, and the child is found then he or she may be returned to the parents or the parents may have him/her arrested.
