Is a Gemini monster a normal monter in the graveyard?

Yes because Gemini monsters are treated as normal monsters while on the field or in the graveyard

Can you summon a monster in face-down Attack position?

No. You can Normal Summon or Set a monster, meaning face-up attack or face-down defense, and Special Summon (unless specified on the card) a monster in attack or defense but face-up. The only way to get a monster into face-down attack position is through the old spell card Darkness Approaches.

Yu-GI-oh is set summon the same thing as normal summon?

Setting is similar, yet not identical to normal summoning. a normal summon is when you Summon a monster onto the field in face-up attack position, whereas a set is when you normal summon a monster in face-down defense position. When a monster is set, it is not yet considered a summoned monster.

Why can't you summon a monster in face-up Defense position?

The core rules state that a Normal Summon places the monster in face-up Attack position, and a Set places it in face-down Defense position. Special Summons are face-up Attack or Defense position, unless stated otherwise. If the continuous Trap card 'Light of Intervention' is active, monsters can be Normal Summoned in face-up Defense position.

Does a Gemini monster automatically return to your hand after being destroyed by battle or by effect?

No, they go to the graveyard as normal.

When you Flip Summon a monster what battle position is it in?

A face-down monster can only be Normal Summoned in face-up ATK position.

Can you Tribute Summon a monster in face-up Defense position?

No, a Tribute Summon follows the same position rules as a Normal Summon, so a monster you Tribute Summon is either face-up attack or Tribute Set into face-down defense.

What is a tribute monster?

Taken from the Official English Rulebook: ...However, for Monsters that are Level 5 or higher, you must Tribute at least 1 monster you control before the Normal Summon. This is called a Tribute Summon. Monsters that are Level 5 or 6 require 1 Tribute and Monsters that are Level 7 or higher require 2 Tributes. Monsters that are Tributed are sent to the Graveyard and the "Tribute Monster" you are Summoning is played in face-up Attack position or face-down Defense position (a.k.a. a "Set").

Can a monster attack the same turn it was Normal or Special Summoned?

Yes, unless the card itself or another card on the field says so, a monster can attack on the same turn it was Normal or Special Summoned.

Can a normal summoned monster attack in the same turn that you also special summon a different monster?

Yes of course. Special summoning never affects what can attack or not, unless specifically stated otherwise. You could normal summon and special summon a monster in main phase 1 and attack with both.

Can you attack with a Monster after Normal Summoning it?

How do you use soul rope if can't active it when the monster is destoryed?

Soul RopeTRAP/NormalActivate only by paying 1000 Life Points when a monster you control is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard. Special Summon 1 Level 4 monster from your Deck.Soul Rope is activated when a monster is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard. This means that you can activate it when a monster you control is destroyed by battle or by another card effect. You cannot activate Soul Rope if the monster was destroyed during the Damage Step via a card effect such as a Defense Position Berserk Gorilla because the timing would not be correct. You also cannot activate this card if there is an effect that prevents your monster from being sent to the Graveyard (ie. D.D. Warrior or Macro Cosmos).

Can a monster attack on the turn it is summoned in Yu-Gi-Oh?

Which would win in Yu-Gi-Oh exodios or exodia necros?

ANSWER: In the Yu-Gi-Oh TV Series Exodia Necross cannot be destroyed by Monster, Trap,Spell, Attack effect/battle. However in REAL LIFE Exodia Necross IS and INFACT effected by Monster Effect's so you can use like Man-Eater Bug to destroy Necross. Exodios you dont need that spell card to summon it. Once all 5 cards are in the graveyard you win right away. Exodios can be defeated as a result of battle and be effected by spells and trap cards.can not be killed by monster effect flip spell our trap cards evry time your attack of exodia necros gets 1000 more attack and deffense these are not only the effects and it can only be destroyed by fushion monster

Yu-gi-oh cards how is it possible to attack set summons when i keep hearing when a monster is set it is not yet considered a summoned monster?

The wording of this question is a bit difficult to understand, but I'll try to answer any and all aspects of it:First of all, when a monster card is Set, it is not considered being "Summoned". So if your opponent has a face-down Trap Hole that can destroy Normal or Flip Summoned monsters, they will not be able to activate it because you Set your monster. Normal Summons and Flip Summons are considered "Summonings".*Second, it is possible for you or your opponent to attack Set monsters. If you want to attack a Set monster, you must enter your Battle Phase and choose a face-up attack position monster you control to attack an opponent's set monster. Next, the opponent's monster is flipped face-up (while still in defense position) and you calculate any damage that results from battle.Set monsters cannot attack.* It is important to note that a face-down monster that is attacked and flipped face-up is not considered to have been Flip Summoned. Only when the card's controller flips a Set monster themselves on their Main Phase or with a card effect is it considered to have been Flip Summoned. On a side note, the turn a player Sets a monster, they cannot perform any additional Normal Summons or Sets for the remainder of the turn. The same rule applies to when you Normal Summon a monster first instead of Setting one.

Can you use polymerization to create a NEW fusion monster or not?

Polymerization is used to Fusion Summon Fusion Monsters from your Extra Deck in Yu-Gi-Oh!. You do not create a "new" monster out of thin air. You must have included the Fusion Monster you are trying to Summon in your Extra Deck. You must also fuse the monsters that are listed on the Fusion Monster. To Fusion Summon a Fusion Monster, you activate Polymerization (unless specifically stated otherwise, such as on XYZ-Dragon Cannon) and send the appropriate Fusion Material Monsters to the Graveyard (from your Hand or your side of the field). Once this criteria is met, place the appropriate Fusion Monster on the field in face-up Attack or Defense Position. Note that this is treated as a Fusion Summon.PolymerizationSPELL/NormalSend Fusion Material Monsters that are listed on a Fusion Monster Card from your Hand or your side of the field to the Graveyard, and Special Summon that Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck.

How do you use the Dragon Shrine Yu-Gi-Oh card?

Dragon Shrine's effect is pretty self explanatory, it lets you send a Dragon-type monster from deck to the graveyard. If that Dragon monster is a Normal Monster too, then you can send a second Dragon monster. Dragon Shrine is used to set up various combos that require Dragon monsters in the graveyard. Dragon's Mirror is one card, as it can Fusion Summon using dragons in the graveyard. White Stone of Legend and Eclipse Wyvern for example, have effects that will trigger from the sending.
