no
Boyfriend or husband (unless he is the biological father) has no legal right to the child at all. The mother can try to go for full custody though.
I assume that the "ex-boyfriend" is also the father of the child. If you believe that he lied to gain custody, you can file a motion/petition for a custody re-hearing and be prepared to demonstrate that he lied, and that you are a 'fit' mother to have custody of the child.
No. The biological father have rights. Unless the court find him unfit to have custody then there might be a chance.
It is normal for the mother to get custody. Yes it is but it is a slim shot.
A boyfriend or stepfather has no legal right to the child so no, you can not.
well u can get custody of the child
yess becaue she is not doing what she is supposed to so you will probly get it
Yes because the mother had no custody over the child
It really depends. I think that the mother and father should have full custody. I say this because the mother is doing this to get better, for the benefit of her kids. Some might argue that she should not have custody because why would she had to go to rehab in the first place. It really depends. I think that the mother and father should have full custody. Yes she can unless she makes him leave. He can be considered a danger to the child.
Yes, when you marry him. No, he doesnt get custody over you and your son just because he is 19. If your married to him you and the boy are dependents, meaning he is financially responsible. Just being boyfriend and girlfriend has no legal boundaries. He doesnt just get the baby either. The mother usually has the inherent rights over baby unless father takes her to court to fight for custody.
As unfortunate as this may be it is possible for the father to get custody of the baby, but not full custody unless the mother is proven unfit. Because reguardless of what happened between the couple the father is still the father of the child, and the father still has his rights as a father to be a part of his child's life.
