Why is meditation important to Hindus?
Meditation is the foundation on which Hinduism is built.IMPORTANCE OF MEDITATION TO HINDUS:1. Meditation is the foundation on which Hinduism is built2. The Vedas, the most sacred books of Hinduism, are based on Vedic Meditation.3. It is not possible to understand Vedas without Mastering Vedic Meditation.4. Meditation is the cheapest, fastest, easiest and the most reliable way for appeasing any Hindu god5. A Hindu can't attain Moksha without becoming a master of Vedic Meditation. Bhakti Yoga, Jnana Yoga, Raja Yoga, Karma Yoga are not much use in the modern world to attain Moksha. One can't attain Moksha through good deeds.
Does suffering make it impossible to believe in God?
We can't believe in Brahman, like we believe in other Hindu gods. We have to become one with Brahman. 'I' and the supreme god Brahman should become indistinguishable and inseparable.Thus, the question actually means whether evil prevents us from attaining Moksha and becoming one with Brahman. The answer is a bit complicated.The true meaning of Moksha:Moksha is a highly misunderstood concept. It is universally believed that we have to be good, become better every day and we attain Moksha the day we become the best citizen of the society. This is absurd because the society would not be foolish to liberate and ignore its most useful citizen. Similarly, the society can't ignore a bad man because he can be dangerous to the society. The society can ignore a man who is half good and half bad. Thus, we can attain Moksha by becoming half good and half bad.The social way of attaining Moksha:If we are bad then we can attain Moksha by adding some goodness to what we are doing, to attain Moksha. The main advantage of this method is that even if fail to attain Moksha we at least would end up becoming good citizens. This is the only way of attaining Moksha that is acceptable to the society.The evil way of attaining Moksha:If we are good to start with, we can attain Moksha by adding evil to what we are doing. In fact, we can be pure evil and yet attain Moksha.When Dharma (discipline) starts making the life of its followers miserable it lets Adharma (indiscipline) to take command. It is at this stage that we can attain Moksha through Adharma or evil. However, we would be called as demons if we attain Moksha this way. However, the society would be helpless in doing in anything to us.It is at this stage that Vishnu reincarnates to destroy Demons, who attain Moksha through Adharma, and thus reestablish Dharma. However, the new Dharma (code of conduct) would be different from the old. Thus, in Hinduism even Adharma serves a useful purpose.Thus, evil can't prevent us from becoming one with Brahman. In fact, we can attain Moksha through evil. However, the society would retaliate sooner or later.

Why every Hindu wants to attain Moksha?
Every one is searching for Moksha, they travel far and wide for this and even go for pilgrimages. While doing all this, first requirement is to find God, and then ask him the way to get forgiveness from sin, and then receive Moksha [salvation]. Every religion speaks of the requirement of Moksha or salvation. An inner voice from within man warns him of the impending uncertainty of tomorrow. Man has come into the world, and his earthly body, or even this world is not his final destination. The spirit of man will come out from his body and move on to the next destination, that is the judgment seat of God. His body made of the elements of this earth, will return to the dust. Therefore salvation from Sin, Moksha and attaining a heavenly abode is the need of everyone. No one is looking forward to a destination of fiery hell, and torture in the darkness of eternity. Therefore being afraid of a tomorrow every human being is willing to pay a price to attain salvation or Moksha.
Is it necessary for a Hindu boy marrying a Muslim girl first converted into Islam and he will be given a Muslim name for the sake of Nikah?
If his name has some sort of hindu meaning or implies worship towards hindu gods and hindu belief then he should do so. Also, if becoming 'muslim' only for nikkah you should think twice and research Islam first, being muslim is not only saying you are one but being one in your heart. Learn about it first, because when you become muslim you are not just changing your faith but your way of life.

Moksha:Originally Moksha meant freedom to have any of the four Varnas viz. Brahmana, Kshatriya, Vaishya and Shudra. This gave not only enormous freedom but also enormous knowledge. However, the exaggerated freedom Moksha gave made individual life and the Hindu society unstable. Therefore, Moksha was redefined.In the original form one could attain Moksha during his life time and not after his death.In the new form Moksha means freedom from cycles of Reincarnation.Moksha is defined as freedom because Brahmana life is rigid. If a Shudra has to attain Moksha he must lose his freedom.Dharma:Dharma means virtual law that we can blindly follow but can't understand or violate.Karma:Karma originally meant manual way of changing Varnas. This is in contrast to Brahman who enables us to change our Varna automatically. Thus, Karma was a means to Brahman.There were four different kinds of Karmas, each enabling a Hindu to have a different Varna.Karma is a way in which Moving and Braking forces of thoughts and activities are linked.In the redefined form good Karma is supposed to give us a higher Varna in the next life.Reincarnation:Reincarnation originally meant transformation of an activity every time it was repeated. Reincarnation thus referred to an activity and not to entire life.To understand the present modification of the definition of Reincarnation we have to replace the word 'life' with the word 'activity'. Thus, in the original form, 'putting an end to cycles of Reincarnation' means 'preventing transformation of the activity every time it is repeated'.It has to be realized that it is the variations in Braking or Inertial force that leads to transformation or Reincarnation of an activity every time it is repeated.The aim was to separate Moving and Braking forces of an activity completely so that they could be blended in four different ways and thus have four different Varnas.
