No, unless someone installed one.
It depends on the vehicle. If the car was offered with a manual transmission or there are other cars with the same engine that have a manual transmission, then yes you can have stick shift installed.
In the manual they gave you when you bought the car
yes you can ,but you will need to buy and have installed, a new flywheel, bell housing, transmission, clutch, and drive shaft. then you will also have to have installed a clutch pedal inside the car. and to top it off, it the car has a computer, you will need to buy a computer to match a standard shift instead of an automatic shift. cheaper just to change cars
yes as long as you leave your transmission out of gear and your parking brake on
yes it will i just had an automatic engine installed in my manuel car. and used the old harness
yes it could have if it was a big block car or someone installed it at one time.
Police car transmission is so good because they take care of their cars. The police cars are made for speed. The transmission is very high quality and the car is too.Added: The vehicles are designed for heavy duty use and they typically use the same transmissions installed in taxicab fleets and/or light duty trucks.
You have a gas leak, installer may have damaged or improperly installed gas line.
Check the Transmission for any stamped in numbers... there should be a pad with the VIN stamped into it to identify that Transmission with the car it was installed in. There are also date codes stamped into the trans. This goes for both Auto and Manual Transmissions.
in some vehicles, two axles cannot be pulled out at the same time. part of the transmission drops down and causes the problem you have now. if the wrong axles were installed, your problem may occur. finally, if the inner joint was not installed completely into the transmission, your vehicle will not move.
As long as the transmission is an AODE it should line up correctly. The shift linkage and dipstick tube might have to be swapped out. To swap the linkage drop the pan. It is easier to swap linkage while still installed in car.
