Yes But it's not easy,
and re installing isn't any better..
Need to loosen motor mounts and trans mount.
I hooked my motor to a hoist and Lifted it as much as i could completely removing motor mount bolts.
(note to watch Fan and shroud if choosing to use hoist..)
The oil pan on a 92 Ford Ranger is removed by taking out by placing a drain pan under the engine, removing the retaining bolts, and prying the pan loose. It can then be lowed from the engine and removed.
the oil drain plug is on the oil pan. crawl under the truck, it's on the very bottom of the oil pan. Closest to the ground.
on your starter which should be next to the oil pan on the underside of your truck
You can change the oil pan gasket in your 2000 Chevrolet S 10 pickup truck by removing the oil pan bolts. Once the bolts are removed the oil pan will come off. Remove the old oil pan gasket and replace it with a new gasket.

The oil pump is located inside the oil pan, mounted on the bottom of the engine block. Oil pan must be removed to access the pump. Once you remove the pan, the oil pump will be clearly visible.

The oil pump is located inside the oil pan mounted on the engine block. To access the oil pump the oil pan must be removed. Have an oil pressure test run to make sure the pump is defective before you go to all the trouble and expense of removing the oil pan.
